Lili-Ann Karppinen
Lili-Ann Karppinen and her husband Kari Karppinen founded the Basunen Church in Stockholm, Sweden in 2005.
Lili-Ann has a powerful testimony that touches every heart. She has also been interviewed to newspapers, radio and TV. Sweden needs more people like Lili-Ann.
She preaches the good news of Jesus with spiritual authority and prophetic insight. She also has a great gift of leading people to the presence of God and of igniting the fires of revival in the hearts of people.

TESTIMONY
From substance abuse to travelling evangelist
Lili-Ann started using drugs early in life. She tried to commit suicide several times, but always something stopped her. This time she was alone at home, sitting with a knife in hear hand. Right when she was about to take her own life, the atmosphere in the room changed.
She was 27 years old. "I thought: Now can no one stop me!" I did not want to live this way anymore and I had no expectations for the future.
But right before she completed her plans something unexpected and shattering happened:
In the midst of the deepest darkness I saw how the whole room was suddenly filled with an incredible love. I saw a light in front of me and in the light the shape of a man. He stretched his hand towards me and said:
"Here I am". And I just knew it was Jesus, says Lili-Ann.
As a 10-year old Lili-Ann attended a Christian Children's camp. There she had an experience of salvation.
- I prayed during the sermon that Jesus would save me, I was under great conviction, Lili-Ann remembers.
She also signed in to be baptized, but her mother did not agree, thinking that Lili-Ann had been overly influenced by her surroundings. Now, 17 years later she was mightily confronted by Jesus.
- Now I knew that it was up to me to choose life or death. I dropped the knife and fell on the floor weeping and crying out: "Help me! Help me!" And something happened in my heart, Jesus saved me, says Lili-Ann.
